The Funny Dalmatian Puzzle

There has to be a story behind this image as it looks like an adorable, yet curious, Dalmatian puppy went exploring during a painting project. It seems more paint got on the puppy than on the walls making the puppy a living pop art piece with splatters of several different colors on it's coat. The mauve paint in the can has clearly been slopped and the puppy seems to be the guilty party. This image isn't as straightforward as it may seem as there is a lot of color around but there is a lot of the same 5 or 6 colors.
